Work Experience
There are some exciting opportunities for Sixth Formers to get involved with work experience at Mary Hare. We work in partnership with Barclays Global Investors who have given opportunities for Sixth Form students to get practice and advice in the writing of CVs and letters of application as well as interview techniques. Originally, the company was committed to providing work experience for one student. Ultimately, they were so impressed that they offered places to four of our students. Being a large company, it was not just students with an interest in banking who were able to benefit. Our students worked in Reception and Marketing. One lucky student will be shadowing a fund manager next summer. Other City companies have now joined the scheme.
